Kenneth Miles

 

Kenneth Miles is a leader to the athletes of Louisiana State University. Since he started working at LSU in 2008 student-athlete graduation rates have increased. Miles says this increase is thanks to organization and recruitment.

 

LSU saw a rise in football graduation rates going from fifty-four percent in 2008 to 60 percent the next year. Miles has a strong motto “be a man for others”. He also said that graduation success is a structure combining many elements on compass.

 

Miles’ is inspired to fix inequality such as the education and the wealth gap. His keys to success are be authentic, be reflective, be aware, be empathetic, and  continue your education. He also has a high respect for his mother since his father was not there for him as a child

 

“Living up to others expectations, false living” said, Miles.
