Tydasia Alfred

 

Tydasia Alfred is a student attending the Louisiana Scholastic Press Association summer institute. She signed up to further her skills in interviewing and writing. She was first introduced to the program by her brother’s girlfriend.

 

Alfred is a 16 year old junior who attends Slaughter community Charter School in Slaughter, Louisiana. She works on the yearbook for her school and wants  to continue in the field of Media after she graduates. She has not decided what college she will be attending yet.

 

“I just wanted to try new things,” said Alfred on Monday during her interview.
